In his third album that is not yet released nearly complete, Ky-mani definitely is a celebrity on his own. Ky-mani is a native of Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend, and Jamaican champion at table tennis, Anita Belnavis. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". As a person who lives up to his moniker, every album or travel experience is an journey of a lifetime. The Journey was his first music venture. He was an eclectic artist with a passion for music and was searching for his unique musical style. Many More Roads, a classical reggae record that received a Grammy nomination in 2001 showed a mature Ky-mani. The Journey and Many More Roads were well appreciated across the globe, establishing Ky-mani as an individual "artist". Ky-Mani mixes roots reggae with hip-hop R&B modern jazz in order to produce his distinctive sound.
