Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also directed films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Born into a middle-class family living in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her mother was a movie enthusiast and encouraged her to love movies as a young person. Paula participated in co-curricular programs at her school, and was a drama enthusiast. She loved to play act alongside her peers and was a participant in school's stage shows. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the setting for many school plays. She made the decision to train as an actor. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. She was awarded an assignment by PBS to create documentaries over a period of three months. When she finished her three-month task successfully Her first assignment was to work in production of television documentaries. The next thing she did was start producing documentaries. However, she had always wanted to become an actress, even though she was happy in her present job. Her career began in acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star for the love story Hitch. Since then she's appeared in numerous productions and films.
