Zoe Saldana was born on June 19, 1978 in Passaic, New Jersey, to Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. The father of Zoe Saldana is Dominican as is her mother Puerto Rican. Her mother raised her mother in Queens. In 2010, she relocated with her family to the Dominican Republic where they spent the next 7 years. Zoe's passion for dance was spurred by the time they were living in the Dominican. Zoe started her dance training through ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy. Apart from providing a creative outlet for the young and enthusiastic student the dance lessons she received will prove to be an important precursor in her beginning professional acting career. Zoe's family and she relocated to United States when Zoe was 17 years old. The passion for dance and her desire to perform on stage developed. She produced and appeared in both films. Also, she can be present in Focus Feature's The Outfit (2020) directed by Graham Moore. In this film, she appears as a co-star with Mark Rylance & Dylan O'Brien. Her role was recognized as a BIFA nomination in 2022 for "Best Featured Performance". Next up, Deutch will join forces with writer Katie Silberman for their second romantic comedy, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch collaborated with Silberman on the Netflix's Set It Up 2018 hit.
