April Ross, a beach volleyball player American She is one of a small category of females who have been awarded medals at more than one Olympics. Alix Klineman, taking part for the very first time at Tokyo's Olympic Games and will attempt to win her third gold medal. Ross is also hoping to win her very first Olympic gold. With her age of 39, this may be her final opportunity to claim the Olympic gold. But she's still certain of taking top honors. Ross through NBC Boston, said that If the team is performing consistently or well it could be able to win gold. Also, it's a matter of chance. Ross was born in California, Costa Mesa in the year 1982. Her parents and sister lived there. Ross played in numerous sports while attending Newport Harbor High School. In addition to the indoor game, she also ran track and basketball in her pre-college days. She was definitely the best player in indoor volleyball. The college bio says that she played outside of the hitter middle blocker, as well as a setter throughout her volleyball time during high school. Gatorade Circle Of Champions named her as the National Player 1999. The year 2000 was the time she received an Orange County Athlete of the year award for volleyball. Ross and Klineman might be working on a project in the year 2017, however Ross was an experienced athlete at the beach prior to when they came together. It's true that she has had the chance to win numerous tournaments, including one with a legendary volleyball player. Ross teamed up with Jennifer Kessy from 2007-2013, and she also served as Klineman's coach. Together, Kessy Ross was an ace in the world circuit, winning a world title in 2009. The duo took silver in London's Olympics. They were beaten out for the gold medal by the legendary group comprising Misty and Kerri Walsh (Jennings). Ross Jennings took over for May-Treanor after she announced her retirement. They won the bronze medal in beach volleyball at the Rio Olympics 2016. Ross participated in the USC Trojans in college after graduating from high school. Her career was a success during her time in the college. In 2000, as a freshman the Trojans' performance earned her the Pac-10 and NCAA the Freshman of the Year award. Additionally, she assisted her Trojans to reach the Final Four. Her sophomore year was the time she suffered a tremendous personal setback, but she was able to repeat as an All-American. Over the course of her final two seasons with the Trojans, she helped them achieve consecutive championships. She had established herself as an all-time great by winning the 2003-2004 Honda Sports Award as the highest ranked female volleyball player. Ross studied the study of international relations in USC. Margie Ross never saw her daughter make it to the top in beach volleyball. Ross's mom passed away due to breast cancer while she was in her sophomore year at USC. This meant that Ross remains close to her deceased parent. Margie is a beach lover as well as in everyday life, continues to inspire her.
