Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer and singer. She's attractive and talented actress who has helped numerous Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. Following a string of appearances in popular TV series and movies, she gained fame for her role in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. The actress took her initial popularity into big screen roles in films including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She delivered a stunning performance in the role of Japanese gangster O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. While she was in the film she was an actress in the flops of the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter were also prominent. For animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen characters, failed to achieve any kind of success. An appearance in the critically acclaimed police drama series Southland allowed her to regain her status as an established actress.
